Speaking

Authentic, Conspiring, Soul-Speak

From universities and art musems, to river banks, beaches, and forests, from conference centers and resorts, to churches and mosques, wedding altars to grave sides, libraries to campgrounds... there's been curious range in which I've held this strange role of the one offering words.

Conspiring rather than Inspiring:

Rather than laying things out cut and dried, the style I prefer tries to draw folk into the conversation, and require their participation for meaning to be made. Information rarely changes anyone, but an encounter with something or Someone beneath and beyond--now that just might sound like music to all our ears.

In the blog post below, see an example of a story I wrote and have told in a couple different speaking contexts (not the commentary--which isn't the kind of thing one would want to use directly.)
